Due to Covid the twice cancelled TF Classic, finally went ahead on 20th May 2022 at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield. Customers from the North and Midlands arrived for breakfast, then 72 golfers teed off at 1pm to play the 18 hole course. Golfers arrived back for drinks and then onto the evening which consisted of a BBQ. We held a raffle where all proceeds went to The Donna Louise charity. Prizes consisted of a 4 ball on the Brabazon and PGA courses, along with four balls on any Marriott course, a golf trolly, a wedge plus many more. Awards were also handed out to the first and second place teams, the nearest pin and the longest drive. Thank you to our main sponsor of the day Mitsubishi.

“It was fantastic to see all the customers attend on the day, we didn’t have anyone drop out of the day, was this because I was in attendance or was it because we were playing on the Brabazon, just after the Bet Fred British Masters event. It was a great sight as 36 buggies set off to get ready for the shot gun start, although one or two may have started before the claxon… 4 ½ hours of excellent golf (for some) then a beer or two afterwards was spot on….. The Belfry team looked after us amazingly, and we look forward to the next TF Classic.”
