TF Solutions first open day of 2022 was held on Thursday 7th July, at Exeter. This trade day included welcoming customers into the new branch to meet the Exeter team, look around the trade counter and see the fully stocked warehouse. There were multiple supplier stands on the day offering product talks, advice and giveaways. Customers also had the chance to meet the suppliers in person, they included; Fujitsu, Samsung, Sauermann, Rothenberger, Testo, National Refrigerants, Armacell, Diversitech, Aspen Pumps, Techumseh and IBP.

Over 50 customers attended the trade day event making this one of our most successful trade days to date, when customers arrived they were entered into a prize draw to win a Samsung TV plus some other great prizes including Sony Headphones, a tablet, tools and champagne. Current customers and potential customers could win these prizes from entertainment games running throughout the day, one game included ‘guess how many items are on display in the trade counter’, this game was very successful within the branch as all the customers got to have a look at all the products we have on offer and spot something they may have not realised we stocked. A burger van was also available to anyone who came into the trade counter that day, where they could help themselves for breakfast and lunch.

There were also supplier giveaways happening throughout the day, Aspen Pumps gave the opportunity to win a Veto TP-LC bag by seeing how many ‘keepie uppies’ you can do, this allowed customers to get involved with the suppliers and what they had to offer.

The open day didn’t stop there, the celebrations continued into the night where customers, suppliers and TF staff all went to the Old Fire House in Exeter for some food and drinks. The continued celebrations allowed customers to get to know each other and have a more personal conversation with the suppliers and also people they didn’t get a chance to speak to in the day.

The verbal feedback from the day and evening was very positive and everyone enjoyed what TF had put on. There was a great turnout and this trade day has definitely set the bar for the rest of the year for more open and trade days.
